Letters on their bellies

The bathtub pics.  Thought you might enjoy.  Hopefully some strategically placed washcloths are keeping things covered.

Somehow we don't have a picture with an N on this kids belly.  It did take forever for her belly button stump to fall off though so maybe we just forgot or maybe I just didn't find it in all the pictures we have of her.  Oh well.  First kid.

Babies

I was going to make this a comparison post of all the kids' baby pictures near their birthdays.  It didn't quite work out as well as I had hoped, but posting anyway.  There are two pics of a certain someone, but one is on his birthday and the other is more than two months later, but was one without wires, tubes, etc. and it's obvious who it is.  Oh well.  You'll enjoy the pics and realize we can't deny any of our children.

p.s. they're in chronological order if you hadn't already figured that out.

November

Mom is trying to go back through the pictures and post a few in case anyone still looks at our blog, so yes these are kind of old, but think of it as a throw-back Thursday sort of thing-even though it's Saturday.

C with a side pony.

"We're all twins!"  It was time to break out the footie jammies.

Coke!  (If Mom ever gets caught up to August there's a story where C got a "red pop" from a cooler full of pop and water cause she was thirsty and then declared that she loves "red pop".   Apparently I do too.)

Making "snacks" in Grandma's kitchen.  I like to share snacks with anyone who would like some.  I practice my pincer grasp and "eat" and "share" a snack.

Help?!?!

Playing at the Lego table with my big brother.  We share a room and there are A LOT of Legos.  I usually keep them out of my mouth, but like to drive the vehicles.  I did somehow find a buckeye to put in my mouth today and it wasn't the chocolate kind.  Mom has banned unsupervised playtime in my room unless I'm in the exersaucer.

I like to cook in my kitchen too.  Equal opportunity mess creator.

I am such a cheese.  Fortunately I haven't stepped on the hem of my pants enough yet for them to fall around my ankles, a common problem I have.

A big kid picture.  There aren't very many pictures of the big kids lately.  Guess they are too hard to catch.  Natalie and I do share some snuggle time occasionally.

Our Thanksgiving turkey and fancy glasses for dinner.  It was low-key due to Molly's pending arrival, but definitely super yummy.  We even managed to have three different desserts.

O and his giant turkey leg.  Not sure who needed the ketchup or for what, but most meals at our house would not be complete without either ketchup or ranch dressing.

My turkey shirt which was also Natalie's turkey shirt and Oliver's and C's.   Tessa had a bigger turkey shirt of her own.

And for evening entertainment Cecelia managed to stamp a puppy dog on her cheek and turn her hands a lovely shade of violet.

Lest anyone might forget I am #1.

Our Week in Review- Week 1 with Molly

It's hard to believe, but Molly has been out of Mom's belly for a whole week now.  Here's what we did this week.

Mom and Dad brought Molly home on Sunday night-something about Mom wanting to sleep in her own bed.  I'm not so sure Molly was very happy with this idea.

I was super excited for her to be home with me.  I spent several minutes circling her car seat and practicing my balance as it rocked when I moved.  I am getting better at this walking/balance thing every day.

As you can see I don't want anyone to forget that I am #1.

Dad was able to snap this pic quickly before I even realized that I was laying next to Molly.  No worries, Mom was close at hand to grab me or Molly if I did figure out we were so close to each other.

C loves Molly too.  She is a little confused at times, or maybe just creative, she often calls Molly Lucile which sounds a lot like Lucy-o.  She also likes to call her Molly Lucile.  Initially she wanted to know where Gertie was and still gets away from herself when God-blessing at night and will add Gertie in before correcting herself.

Did I mention I like this seat and it's MINE.  I practice my balancing by walking around it being sure to hold on with at least one hand.  After a lap of so I take a break by hopping in.

To continue our week of birthday excitement we hosted Grandma for her 60th birthday evening.  Mom made her this yummy, diabetic coma inducing, chocolate raspberry cake.  It was amazing!

When Molly came home she had her very first birthday carwash.  Unfortunately her birthday buddy didn't get hers this year.

Trying out the hair pretties.  I am so handsome!

Me and my buddy.  We are both so pretty.

And my favorite Molly.

Finally, after such a week Dad and I needed a quick nap.

Old post

When attempting to update the blog, many months behind, I found this old, untitled post from who knows how long ago.  It has Easter pics and whatnot.  It was probably started later this summer.  Anyway, I'll try posting it again.  Enjoy!

Not sure what kind of yumminess this guy was eating, but he was sure enjoying it.  It might have been a blueberry smoothie.  Yum!

Hanging out with one of my favorite sisters.  She's teaching me early the finer points of Harry Potter.

A fancy story hour hat.

All dressed up with nowhere to go.

Ouch!  C had a mishap that involved a bed and a dresser and later a trip to the local ER.  She now understands the rhyme about monkeys jumping on beds much better.

Not exactly sure what happened to her clothes.  Must have something to do with 4th kid syndrome.

Easter would not be complete without a very fancy butter cross decorated with jelly beans.  What an awesome accompaniment to our dinner table.

Showing off my fancy Easter clothes.  Ready for anything northwest Ohio might throw me this season.

Molly

Mom on her way to work less than 24 hours before Molly made her debut.  Mom made it safely
home from work, enjoyed a Mancino's grinder and a bowl of ice cream before her water broke sending Dad off racing with Mom to the hospital.

Molly was born bright and early the next morning-Saturday, November 29 at 5:22.  She weighed 7 lbs. 2 oz. and was 20 inches long.

She enjoyed a brief nap before the rest of the crazy circus arrived for a visit.

The birthday girls.  Molly shares her birthday with Natalie who turned 10 last Saturday.

Big brother #1.

Molly looks a lot like her big sister Tessa.

Of course C was super excited to meet Molly.

And big brother #2 was fascinated by her good looks.
